Something wicked this way came!

The young choristers of the Okanagan Children’s Choir donned their robes and flicked their wands as they took part in The Music of Harry Potter, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra’s family show last weekend. And what a great time they had! The chromatic harmony of John William’s score and the Shakespeare text for “Double Trouble” were no match for these young musicians as they appeared as children from Hogwarts, conducted by the eHarry Potter Showsteemed Professor Trelawney (aka Rosemary Thomson). Complimented with choreography by local musician/actor/teacher Colin deBourcier, the children were subtly creepy and dramatic. Three performances in three cities made for a very busy weekend for choir families, but a full house for the final show in Kelowna brought the weekend to an exciting finish. And now…it’s on to Christmas!!
